When I began to also focus STYLE LIFE towards including building, design and decoration, I carried my passion for health support and protective action along for the ride.
In 2016, I was so pleased to have found an Australian made No VOC paint range. So unfortunately, Ecolour was sold to those who could not keep the brand going. With great 'Google Reviews', Ecolour should have been primed to continue its success - the fact that their indoor and outdoor prepping and paint products were excellent, was a golden key to success.
Anyhoo, as I continue my search for healthy, non-toxic preparation and paint products as a means of helping those who want to listen, I have begun the search for more NO VOC paint products.
I am not just talking about painting and finishes for walls, ceilings, decks and exteriors - I am talking about products used in preparation and also finishes used for furniture and decorative pieces. All fumes fill your indoor spaces and most certainly negatively impact you in some way.
SAME GOES FOR TOXIC PERFUMES USED IN SCENTED CANDLES - another environmental toxin that you can control/prevent.
Between 'Architecture & Design', 'Better Homes & Gardens', 'Enviro Coatings Australia', 'Painted Earth' and 'White Mica', I have much information to work through and decipher while I ascertain who is presenting the best products available.
The most important element is 'NO' VOC's rather than 'LOW' VOC's.
I see that Dulux and Taubman's are secured to the bandwagon and present 'LOW' VOC's - Haymes present 99% VOC Free, which is a great attempt.
Better Homes & Garden Australia have not covered this subject via their online representation, but Better Homes & Garden USA have:
'According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), indoor air can be up to five times more polluted than outside, which can have serious side effects for your health. Mold, mildew, smoke, dust, and other allergens might be lurking in the air around your home but invisible to the eye. Long-term exposure to these pollutants has been linked to asthma and other respiratory diseases, heart disease, and cancer.'
'Murobond' - I very much like their outline of who they are. Â https://murobond.com.au/
'Murobond is internationally renowned for its unique range of high-quality, water-based paints. Since its inception in 1988, Murobond has focused on three pillars: aesthetics, technological expertise and environmental sensitivity. As a result the company is unmatched in its ability to create paints that offer wonderfully rich, individual finishes.'

Try not to gamble with yours and your loved ones' health by unnecessarily bringing toxins into your home and work spaces - there are so many things that we can do very little about while we fight to protect and rejuvenate our world.
